A member asked:

I have these smaller red bumps on my lower butt and am not sure what they are. they are spread out and do not itch. do you know what they are?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Keratosis pilaris?: They might be kp, which is plugging of the tiny blonde hair follicles. This happens to people on the backs of their upper arms, their buttocks, sometimes the fronts of their thighs. Kp is harmless, but if you want to try to improve the lookand feel, try cerave sa lotion (available at drugstores) twice a day.
