Hard to predict: The shot actually last 4 months and there may be some accumulation of the drug. Do not get caught up in when it supposed to occur; all bets are off when getting off depo; especially long term.

Sure but…: Remember the overwhelming majority of people using depo-provera as birth control will not have periods. This is completely normal and expected.
