Can't say: All tests have threshold above which they are positive; just because they are supposed to detect something (in this case, likely hsv antibodies), doesn't mean it's the only thing they detect. The threshold keeps false positives from happening. Indeterminate means there was some signal, but not enough to reach "positive". And hsv antibodies appear reliably 4-6 weeks after infection.
