Medical evaluation: Your primary care doctor or urologist can be a resource to determine underlying causes for the erectile dysfunction, and the optimal treatment. A basic history and physical, and perhaps a few labs can arrive at a reasonably accurate diagnosis and institute a treatment plan. Often it will be helpful to have a partner involved in treatment plans.
