Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your symptoms. I don't know the reason for your vaginal redness and pain. Is there any burning with urination? Is there a vaginal odor? Is there any vaginal discharge? One possibility could be decreased vaginal secretions if you are an older woman. If you are younger and sexually active, if you are not adequately aroused prior to sexual activity, you may not be well enough lubricated and develop a rash due to friction. If this problem has been there for a while it would be worth being evaluated by a physician.
