First : First of all, please know that after about three months on the pill your body will be used to the hormones, and your periods may not be as heavy. If they continue to be heavy after 3 months then you should consider a change in your pill. As far as your question, yes you would start the next pack of pills the next day after the last active pill of the previous pack. This should not be done for more than 3 months in a row, your uterus needs to shed it's lining (your period) at least every 3 months.
