Can i skip my "reminder pill" and start a new pack right away so i can skip my period? its my first month on birth control pills (microgestin fe 1.5/30) and i am currently taking my "reminder pill" and i am on my period. its worse than its always been. an

First : First of all, please know that after about three months on the pill your body will be used to the hormones, and your periods may not be as heavy. If they continue to be heavy after 3 months then you should consider a change in your pill. As far as your question, yes you would start the next pack of pills the next day after the last active pill of the previous pack. This should not be done for more than 3 months in a row, your uterus needs to shed it's lining (your period) at least every 3 months.

SKIPPING SUGAR PILL: Yes iot is safe as long as you restart your next pack 7 days after you stop the sygar pill.So you have to remind yourself when next pack has to start.
