Many different: There are many different names of combination birth control pills-some brand names and some generics-with many different hormone combinations (atype of estrogen and a type of synthetic progesterone)and also different doses. All prevent pregnancy, but may have minor variations in metabolism, side effects, and how you as an individual tolerate themthere is little evidence that any 1 pill is better.
