Dr. : Dr. Thornton provided an outstanding response. Here are two options that could be considered that do not involve hormone replacement. A number of providers used selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (especially lexapro) to assist with hot flashes and other menopasual sxs. Medical acupuncture can also be very helpful. Good luck.
