Is this extreme? i have a yellowish white discharge and an odor. i bath on a regular that is why concerns me. i have no irritation on my vaginal area but i am really concerned.

Vaginal : Vaginal discharge that has odor is definitely a cause for concern. A common cause would be a bacterial infection (commonly known as BV or bacterial vaginosis) or even yeast infections can present this way.
Also certain std's can cause these symptoms(namely gonorrhea, chlamydia, and even trichomoniasis). Also hormonal changes can cause discharge and odor.
The only way to figure out what you are dealing with is to schedule an appointment with your primary care provider or gynecologist. They should be able to make a diagnosis and provide treatment if indicated.
