A member asked:

What does it take for a testical to rupture?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually hard impact: Testicles are very tough. It takes a lot of force to rupture one. This is quite painful. If you have significant pain but there has been no injury, it may be due to twisting of the testicle around its blood supply (torsion). This is an emergency and needs treatment very quickly to save the testicle.
