May be helpful: A sex therapist can be very helpful for couples struggling with having sex. Sometimes couples have infertility because they have trouble having sex. An infertility physician can do timed artificial insemination to help with conception, but sex therapy in addition to insemination would also be helpful so the couple can also have a healthy sexual relationship in addition to having a family.

Stress release: A therapist can help relieve feelings of pressure and stress, and help address problems with anorgasmia, erectile dysfunction, lack of interest, and some forms of painful intercourse.
