It can contribute: I encourage you to see your physician since your depression can worsen if left untreated. A discussion should entail your safety first, then possible causes, and then management. Unfortunately, depo-provera has been associated with depression so this may not be the best contraception for you. Schedule an appointment & take good care of yourself.

Depressed?: Life is full of hassle and depression is very common. U need to see your PCP for evaluation , he or she will give u medication. But remeber it can take 4-6 weeks for medications to work and medication does not change situation , it is very important to see a therapist. If u feel u r in danger of harming u self go to the next er for evaluation and treatment.
