Erectile dysfunction: Ed is currently believed to have more of a physical cause rather than psychological in men 40yrs old or more. Arterial diseases (arteriovenous insufficiency) is the main cause due to plaque build up in the small penile arteries as well as hardening of arteries. It is associated with conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, hormonal problems. But never ignore psych issues esp in young men.
