It can.: Missing a pill or taking pills at differing times can put you at a higher risk of pregnancy. Continue with the pills, but use a back up method of birth control for the rest of the month. Bcp are not 100% even when taken properly, so i recommend to my patients that absolutely do not want to get pregnant, to always use at least two methods (condoms and bcp).
