Is it neccessary to hve sex when taking clomid (clomiphene) or can sex be haded on ovalution days and if iui is done.then is it necessary to hve sex same day?

IUI only: Peak fertility is usually a few days after finishing clomid (clomiphene). You should test for ovulation. Iui alone can result in pregnancy, so sex is not necessary. Sex before providing a semen sample for IUI may result in a lower quality sperm count.
