Why do women lose there sexual drive after they reach fifty or so?

They don't: Not all women loose their sexual desire. If it does go away, she should be evaluated. It may be hormonal, especially if she is post menopausal. Hormone replacement therapy may help if that is the cause. Some medications cause loss of libido as do some medical illnesses.
