Many can: Loss of sexual desire is a common side-effect of antidepressants, especially the ssris (prozac, zoloft, celexa, lexapro, paxil). This affects men and women equally, and for a large minority (not majority) of users. To treat this side-effect, the doctor may decrease the dose, add an "antidote" (wellbutrin (bupropion) is often used), or switch to a different medicine. The effect is only temporary.

Yes: Almost all the ssri's can cause sexual dysfunction in both males and females - those are medications like prozac, zoloft, paxil (paroxetine). There are some other medications that her doctor can use to counter act the effects or possibly a switch to another type of anti-depressant.
