A 46-year-old member asked:

Frequent masturbation to guy photos. could it cause erectile dysfunction?

Unlikely: It is possible, that this could lead to desensitization, but not really erectile dysfunction. The intensity/scope of the material to which you masturbate is much more important than the gender of the person/people regarding this desensitization.

Not valid question: As far as we know, masturbation does not cause erectile dysfunction. If one were to experiment sexually and injure the phallus, then the traumatic event can result in vascular/nerve injury that can lead to erectile dysfunction.

No, but...: If a teen becomes accustomed to a very firm grip, it may be more difficult to respond to the more subtle experiences later with a partner. Understanding and practice should overcome this with time.
