My child masturbates: I am sure many parents have had this experience or something close to it.
Humans need to explore their bodies. Humans are curious, and let's admit it, it feels good to touch ourselves.
A parents role is to gently not increase any shame, embarrassment and to, when appropriate, teach self esteem to their children by explaining the norms of the human experience and when we maintain privacy.

Dr. Killian has given you excellent advice. If anyone tells you otherwise, they are trying to make you afraid of human nature, and the results will be bad. Life is hard enough without making trouble over things that should not be a problem.
