Depends: It may be an issue of too low a dose of birth control or the timing of initiating them that could be the problem. I would follow up with your doctor to see if this is the case before stopping or changing them. If you have just started birth control there may be some initial breakthrough bleeding as well-usually not a concern. If this persists of course follow up with your doctor.
