ANAL ITCHING: Anal itching can be caused by many things. Rough toilet paper, spicy foods, diarrhea, psoriasis, pinworm infection, yeast infections, hemorrhoids (piles), diabetes, antibiotics, soaps, clothing, laundry detergents, etc. Check with your doctor if it persists.

Strep or Candida: Strep infection or a yeast such as candida can cause anal itching. It is also classically seen in pinworm infestations.
