OK: There are a few different conditions that can cause failure to menstruate. The most common is polycystic ovarian syndrome, though problems with thyroid and other conditions can also cause this problem. It would be worthwhile for you to check with your ob/gyn about this. Birth control pills will likely regulate your cycle.
