Is this new?: It would help to know if this problem is new or not. It is possible that some problem with a lower level nerve is causing the feeling in your gluteal region. Normally, a fusion prevents this problem, but only for those levels. Could there be a problem below the fusion now? It is a good idea to check if it is new. If this is not new, perhaps some unhealed nerve damage is the cause.
