A doctor has provided 1 answer

When stopping: birth control hormones, the transition sometimes causes irregular bleeding, particularly if periods were irregular prior to starting the birth control method. 4 weeks after stopping for next period if you were regular prior to starting pills. See your doctor if the bleeding is heavy or continues.
