On depo-provera two years was due 12/11/14. didn't get it started spotting brownish color with cramps two days ago.had unprotected sex today. can i get prego?

Missed Depo shot: It's unlikely you would conceive so soon because the shot gives you protection beyond the 12 wks. If you plan to resume the Depo, best to abstain or use protection for 2 wks, get a pregnancy test & go back to using the Depo. The spotting can happen if you are late for your shot. Pregnancy test is a good idea anytime however if you have unusual bleeding & you are sexually active.

Unprotected: Any time a reproductive age female has intercourse and is unprotected there is a chance of a pregnancy occurring.
