Can a white sore be herpes? how can i know for sure?

Uncertain: A cold sore is a lesion w blisters (lip, chin, cheek, nostril & sometimes mouth) which causes burning, pain & itching. It is teaming w Herpes Simplex virus. These are most often associated w Herpes Simplex Virus1. The lesions are often found on lips, skin around mouth, nose, chin, mouth, cheeks, & even eye. Cold sores usually resolve in 7 to 10 days when no intervention is used.
