Adverse reaction: Without knowing the nature of the reaction, I would not not recommend taking a medication that has previously, resulted in "a bad reaction".

Check with doc: There is more than one form of EC and I wound not recommend doing one that you had a bad reaction to.Your doc can recommend an alternative.
