Concern is misplaced: Chlamydia is normally a silent and asymptomatic infection to begin with and even less likely to cause throat symptoms. The chance of getting Strep throat from oral sex is substantially higher. This time frame is also too short for Chlamydia as it might be weeks for an infection to become apparent.

Oral is not safe sex: If you truly had "protected" sex you have no worries . Many have a mistaken belief that oral sex is somehow safe when, in fact, STD's especially gonorrhea, syphilis, HPV, hepatitis, & chlamydia are just as commonly passed on in both directions orally as they are via intercourse. If you were exposed you've already contracted it. It could also be a common cold or even strep. You'll have to see a doc
