Are there any ways to prevent or reduce the effects of erectile dysfunction from drinking? (besides the obvious "drink less" answer)

Try Viagra (sildenafil): It's a great medication for erectile dysfunction. Hopefully the patient will somewhat derease his drinking and have a greater life.

Other options, too: Don't forget that besides viagra, there's also cialis, levitra, (vardenafil) staxyn & stendra. If the oral meds don't work, there's intraurethral muse and injectable caverject. Plus there are mechanical vacuum pump devices, too. Lots of options to fit your pocketbook and medical history (the oral drugs can't be used w/nitrates such as nitroglycerin).
