A 20-year-old female asked:

Does emergency contraceptive pill works after surgical abortion if taken 20 days after abortion?

No: The emergency contraceptive only works if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. You should not need it if you had a surgical abortion unless you have conceived again in which case it will work if taken within 72 hours but you really need to start a much more reliable method of contraception. Sex should not be an emergency every time.
