New cave exploration: Sex hasn't occurred for some time and as women age estrogen levels drop dramatically. The bleeding may have occurred due to a "shrinkage" during the "cave exploration". A GYN MD can help this situation by a Rx vaginally that contains estrogen.

Probably not: However post-coital bleeding is a good reason to visit your primary care or Gyn for a check up. You may just have vaginal mucosa that is sensitive. The doc can prescribe medication that will help. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
