Dyspareunia: Painful intercourse can arise from ligaments of pelvic joint, largest joint in axial spine, the sacroiliac joint. Ligaments are stretched in missionary position as femur leverages & torques the pelvis. Pain generated by sacroiliac joints can radiate to mid-pelvic region, leading to incorrect perception that vagina is problem. Problem particularly in Hypermobility Syndrome. See comments:
