A 20-year-old female asked:
Does sperm really live a week? does it weaken the longer it waits in a woman's body to fertilize an egg?

3-5 days: Inside a woman's body, sperm can live for up to five days depending on the conditions. If you have unprotected sex even a few days before your partner ovulates, there is a chance of achieving a pregnancy. The longer the sperm live, the weaker they become.
