Depo- progesterone: can increase the quality and quantity of normal vaginal and cervical sexual mucous. This is not an uncommon side effect.

Hormones: Progesterone (the provera (medroxyprogesterone) in Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone)) causes the cervical mucous to thicken and vaginal secretions.
