Warts, cancer: There are many strains of HPV. Some strains cause genital warts, while others cause cervical cancer. There has also been significant increase in young men and women developing throat and tongue cancers from HPV exposure through oral sex. That is why we are pushing for all young men and women to get the HPV vaccine.
