Office procedure: Vasectomy is a minor office procedure performed with local anesthetic. A tiny puncture is made in the skin to grasp the vas tube. A small segment of the vas is excised and the edges either tied cauterizer or clipped. in the hands of an experience urologist it should not be painful and should take about 15 to 20 minutes.
