Family planning: Remarkably, the answer is not 100%. Even couples who WANT to get pregnant can try for months or years without success. Factors such as male sperm count and timing of her menstrual cycle affect the odds dramatically. The important question is does she WANT to get pregnant. If so, she and her partner should keep trying without condoms. If not, she should insist he wear a condom, every time.
