Ovulation: If your cycles are quite regular you would have ovulated around Sept. 29 but ovulation on Sept.27 would still be possible and caused your symptoms. Conception would not be possible from unprotected sex on Sept 8 in view of your normal period starting on Sept15. Your gynecologist could advise you further.
