Got depo-provera about a month ago, i've had brown spotting for the past 5 days. i've heard of this but how long does it last?

Some people will cycle normally on it, some people will have sporadic periods, and others may have continuous unpredictable bleeding of some type. It is impossible to predict which will occur. However, give it at least 6 months to see if the irregular bleeding resolves.
