Not related: Some women will have a brown discharge prior to their menses starting. Some women can have implantation bleeding which is usually around 7 days after ovulation. The brownish discharge you describe is most likely premenstrual. In the future, please take emergency contraception if you do not wish to get pregnant. Take care.
