Generic: The pharmacy probably gave you another generic product of the same medication. It's normal to have clear or reddish/brownish discharge at the end of your period when starting a new pack of pills. If the discharge smells bad, that's when you want to visit your doctor.

New Symptoms: Each BC pill can differ in the type and strength of hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. These differences may be at the cause of the change in your discharge. You did not indicate the reason the pharmacy changed your prescription. It would be worth checking if you haven't already, why the change and is your physician aware of the change.
