Questionable: assumption. Your statement that herpes lesions should have hair in them is not correct. Herpes lesions can occur at site that have no hair. Even skin lesions do not need to have hair in them. It would be prudent to see a doctor to get definitive diagnosis. Given your history of unprotected sex you may wish to get tested for other STDs as well.

Herpes has no hair: Herpes bumps contain multiple clear or reddened vesicles and are very painful when they first appear. In other words, herpes lesions are "bald". If you really want to know what it is , call a MD for an exam.
