It can: If you think you may have a herpetic skin rash, please seek help from a doctor in person, as if it's near your eyes or ears it can compromise either your sight or hearing. Again it doesn't mean that all rashes are herpes related but some are. Best of luck.

Yes: It starts a a red rash that blisters, If you think it might be herpes see your doctor to get it checked out.
