Proper hygiene....: I agree, semen does not contain bacteria normally but...your pants might. Wetness with potential bacteria from your skin or the cloth of your pants makes a moist environment ripe for staph or strep infections of the groin. Not a good idea at all to do this routinely. You're tempting fate and I wouldn't want an infection in this area. You don't either.
