Low blood: After such a stressful event, your cycle will not be on its usual schedule. If you bled for 3 weeks you may want to have blood work performed to at least check your blood count.

Good question: The body needs to adjust to the post abortion condition, and once the hormones form the pregnancy are gone, and your normal hormonal levels are achieved, you will ovulate and then the period will return when this happens. No magic date for you unfortunately, Best Wishes.
