Lortab elimination?: Lortab (hydrocodone and acetamenophen) is a pain med. The hydrocodone component has a 1/2 life of 8hrs. That means every 8 hrs, 1/2 of the drug should be eliminated in ur urine. If u have a problem with opiate pain medication, it's best to be honest with your doc & get the help u need. Be careful, as Lortab also contains tylenol, (acetaminophen) an overdose of which can cause liver failure and death. talk 2 ur MD
