I got the depo-provera shot while i was pregnant and didn't know will my baby be okay? will he or she have any defects?

Most likely OK: As far as we know, babies born following inadvertent use of the Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) injection don't have a higher incidence of birth defects then the average population. There have been a few case reports of problems but so far these seem to be the exception rather than the rule. Most likely your baby will be completely normal.
