Pretty good: Having sex around the time of ovulation is the most efficient way to get pregnant. Since you are 18 I am wondering if you are trying to get pregnant or trying to prevent it? Use over the counter Plan B if intercourse was within 72 hours to decrease the risk of unplanned pregnancy. See a doctor to start birth control

A 17-year-old female asked:

If you have unprotected sex; can you be pregnant even if it was 5 days after your ovulation?

Yes, but less likely: A woman can get pregnant 5 days after "ovulation" because she cannot tell exactly when her egg leaves her ovary. Sometimes, she will ovulate a day or two or three early, other times she might be late. If she ovulates late one cycle, "thinks" she is already well past her ovulation, and goes on to have unprotected sex, then she could get pregnant.
