Each STD different: Gonorrhea and herpes can cause symptoms (discharge, painful urination, blisters/sores) within 2-5 days of exposure and usually within 10 days. Chlamydia longer, usually 1-2 weeks or more. Syphilis 2-6 weeks, HPV or warts up to 2 years. Often there are no symptoms at all. If you think you may have been exposed, you will need testing even if there are no symptoms at all. See your doctor or a clinic.
