EC disrupts periods: "the morning after pill" is usually levonorgestrel. The way it works is that is "scares your body" with high hormones so it won't release an egg. Often with emergency contraception (EC) aka "the morning after pill" it will mess up your period, causing it to come earlier or later. Seems like this is the case here. See your Doctor if you have any more questions.
